ComPilot replacement battery

2016-04-04 14:02:00 in Bluetooth & Hearing Aids by  rackwe
Does anybody know where a man may buy a swap battery for a ComPilot?

The battery is: Model #AE482539P

Lithium Polymer Battery

3.7 V 450mAh

It’s only a 1 ¼ x 1/8 x 7/8 , three wire (one wire for the thermistor) with a module association.

It would be very simple to supplant in the event that one could discover a source to purchase the substitution battery.

Guest I am a small business owner, expecting delivery of brand new replacement battery for compilot I and II. If you are in need of replacement, please send a response on this site. $20.00 +shipping. Only in USA. Expecting middle of September. Thanks.
Guest I am expecting a delivery of 4 new battery for compilot 1 but I don’t know if it will work in compilot 2. I ordered it from my husband contact in China battery outlet. I paid $49.00 each + shipping of $10.00. So if anyone is interested contact me when it arrived late August 2019. I only need one but the minimum purchase was 4 so I will have 3 extras. Thanks.
HearingAidWearer If you contact Phonak, they will only say that you need to send the unit in for repair. They will not sell you a new battery otherwise. The only other way you can get a replacement is to go to a custom battery maker online and order with your specifications. But then you must order a minimum of at least 200 or more depending on who you contact. That is the problem with buying devices with batteries that are not common everyday off-the-shelf items, such as AA, AAA, C, or D. However, it may be that it is not possible to meet the electrical requirements with such batteries. Bluetooth is known for its high power demands.
Guest Any update on the availability of the battery for the ComPilot 1? Costco cost $256 is a bit much for a battery replacement. rick in Shelton, wa
Solonphotos I would not attempt to supplant the lithium particle battery in ANY gadget unless I knew for sure that it was the Exact same battery. LI-particle batteries and power supply bungles can bring about blasts and flames - not great on the off chance that it is staying nearby your neck and under a combustible shirt ....

jbrsd1 I'm attempting to discover one as well.

I will probably arrange the battery that BoCat used...it doesn't demonstrate to an end connector...not beyond any doubt generally accepted methods to work that out...maybe some binding or grafting??

I lucked out and had a screwdriver bit that worked...2 screws and I got it out.

Costco needs $135 to send it off for a "refurb"...and I need to recharge my enrollment as indicated by the Costco person....so about $200.

I found a battery on Interstate Battery's site with a similar voltage/mAh/Wh..same length and width...but too thick. I called them...no good fortune.

This is one elusive battery!

Way off the subject...but...If I could have become shut inscribing chipping away at a "savvy" TV, I wouldn't have required the Compilot. A ton of hunts demonstrated to me that the TV won't do CC for Netflix movies...but a portable workstation will(maybe I could synchronize the motion picture with the tablet and do CC on the portable workstation?) , so will a ROKU $49, or an Amazon Fire TV stick...or different gadgets. These are less expensive than sending the Compilot back to Phonak through Costco. (In any case, I'm attempting BoCat's battery arrangement.)

You sound very able - my insight into power is generally about how to abstain from getting a stun - so I think you will be fit as a fiddle in the event that you can discover an Ipod battery on Amazon that is the right size and shape.

wa3pnt You may make an impression on Connevans. They are an extraordinary hotspot for repair part, and have swap batteries for some gadgets, in spite of the fact that I didn't see the ComPilot recorded.

They are in the UK, however have sensible costs and delivering.

Their email address is: askaquestion@connevans.com

miket How long did the first last before it quit energizing accurately?

rmingee If you have "Batteries Plus Bulbs" stores in your general vicinity, I would attempt there. I dismantled an old shaver once that had rechargeable batteries that were kind of a weirdo frame element, and they really had substitutions. I'm certain there are places online too, yet they can be elusive. Good fortunes!
